Bigwin Island

Bigwin Website and Marketing, 2015

Bigwin Island private golf club and cottage community, with a 18 hole championship golf course and exclusive waterfront vacation properties located in Lake of Bays, ON.

Objective: I’ve been working with Bigwin Island for the past five years designing their new website, advertisements, online marketing, and their exclusive Cottage Collection clothing line.
The clubhouse recently switched club management software which resulted in a new website using Jonas Software. The focus was to provide all their club members and cottage owners a great online experience while their on the island.

The Pro Shop launched their exclusive Cottage Collection clothing line in 2013 and I had the great opportunity to lead the art direction for each garment. The premium apparel included hoodies, crewnecks, quarter-zips, and t-shirts all made in Canada.

Results: The client could not be more pleased with the end results. We continue to stay focused on the goals of each project and measure the results so that we can refine our marketing strategy each season. Since working with Bigwin Island we’ve definitely seen an impact online bringing awareness and demand that has generated a buzz around their exclusivity.

Muskoka’s leading clothing brand based throughout Muskoka, ON. Leading the creative direction to a highly passionate company that make great products.

Objective: Working directly with the core team, I have had the opportunity to flex my creative muscle on a wide range of projects that helped build the company.

Results: Ensuring each design reflected the marketing strategies to build their culture for the company over the coming years. Pixel Flex has conceptualized and designed their clothing design, ecommerce website, product photography, promotional collateral and posters.

The Collingwood Brewery

Downhill Pale Ale Packaging, 2013

The Collingwood Brewery is the first brewery in Collingwood, ON. Downhill Pale Ale is a high quality, all-natural beer that is available across Ontario.

Objective: The goal was to create a simple and timeless looking can that captures the lifestyle of Collingwood. The package design was to fit a 473 ml can that could also be branded on tap handles and other merchandise.

Results: I designed the can that could tell the story of the area and to differentiate the brand from other craft beer with its bright shade of blue. This growing beer company is now available at the LCBO and many bars & restaurants across Ontario.

Axiom Audio

Axiom Audio Advertising and Marketing, 2007

Axiom Audio is a home theatre manufacturer based in Dwight, ON. Working together I helped the visual design of this growing company.

Objective: I have worked closely with Axiom Audio for a number of years and delighted to have the opportunity to design their advertising and marketing. This ecommerce retailer let me lead the visual direction to their website and product photography.

Results: Many of the ads I designed were published in Canada HiFi Magazine and Sound + Vision Magazine that impacted their international branding but more importantly their sales. My product photography were also featured in the Toronto Star, InStyle Magazine and also appeared online including Engadget.

Smashing Baby

Smashing Baby Identity, 2014

Smashing Baby is a baby boutique for the chic and stylish mom based in Milton, ON. They needed a fresh new logo to brand themselves online and custom products.

Objective: To create a brand identity using their ideas and goals in mind to reflect the company.

Results: The theme I took was Stylish and Eco Friendly that was targeted for the chic and fashionable “city” mom. The choice of colour and photography depicts the lifestyle of a career women turned mom in her mid-to-late 30s who prefers the boutique-y shopping experiences. The new logo is now being used throughout their on & offline branding.
